Kinder Morgan is one of the largest pipeline transportation and energy storage companies in North America. To expand their administration capabilities, Kinder Morgan wished to renovate an existing building. Ridgeworth completed the following work during this renovation in the spring of 2010:

1. Removed the old roof system down to the deck.
2. Repaired the existing deck.
3. Removed obsolete through-roof piping.
4. Installed a 24-gauge metal plate over small holes in the metal deck.
5. Installed GAF EnergyGuard 2.0" Isocyanurate LTTR=12.1 roof insulation mechanically fastened to the existing deck.
6. Installed a 1/2" to the foot tapered saddle in the valley to drive moisture to the roof drains.
7. Installed a GAF Liberty SA self adhering modified base sheet over the new insulation.
8. Installed a GAF Energy Cap FR modified bitumen membrane that was heat welded and torch applied to the base sheet.
9. Flashed all roof projections and parapet walls with modified membrane.
10. Installed surface mounted counter flashing to the perimeter walls that were fastened and caulked.
11. Furnished and installed new lead flashings at the through-roof plumbing stacks.
12. Fabricated and installed a 24-gauge pre-finished steel coping cap.
